About the event
We are thrilled to present a special concert on Saturday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m., featuring Trio Oriens alongside our esteemed musician friends, violinist Mann-Wen Lo and violist Tonya Burton. We are incredibly proud to showcase the premiere of compositions by the winners of the 2024 Oriens Composition Competition—Skyler Baysa (19), Zi-Jun Wang (15), and Tzu-An Liu (16). Expect exciting new music with a few pleasant surprises!
The concert will wrap up with Robert Schumann’s iconic Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, a piece full of lyrical beauty, passion, and energy. Admission is free and open to all, so please come share this special afternoon with us—you might just leave with a smile and a new favorite piece!
